Hyderabad - The Charminar of Hyderabad, Telangana, India

The Charminar monument located near Makkah mosque and was constructed in 1591 as a landmard icon of Hyderabad. It was surround with old markets. It is one of the tourist attraction in Hyderabad. Most of celebration like Ramadan were celebrated here grandly. The English name is a translation and combination of the Urdu words Char and Minar or Meenar, translating to "Four Pillars", wheras the eponymous towers are ornate minarets attached and supported by four grand arches.
